Christmas Storytelling Session

Run on Zoom - Saturday 19th December 5-5:45pm

Tara will be telling one of her very own Christmas stories where we will be riding in our sleighs, spreading magic, singing songs and helping the Elves make their toys in time for Christmas!

Also with themes of gratitude, friendship and appreciating more family time this 2020.

Christmas Eve Storytelling & Crafting

Twas the night before Christmas... with Tiny T's! Tara will be telling the story of Twas The Night Before Christmas for a very special Christmas Eve Storytelling & Crafting Session.
We will be making 'Santa Binoculars' to spy when Father Christmas is on his way and a little Reindeer puppet!

Christmas Themed Afternoon Tea & Theatre

Coltsfoot , Datchworth , Coltsfoot Lane , Herts - Saturday 12th December 

Sittings at 11:30am-1pm & 2:30pm-4pm

£25.00 Per Child - £35.00 Per Adult 

All COVID Procedures in place - Bookings at tables of 2, 4 or 6 Only

One day in winter - a cold, frosty day, The Rainbow Fairies made up a play!

About making wishes, adventures and things they love best. The fairies knew it would be a success!

 

Join The Rainbow Fairies at Coltsfoot Barns on Saturday 12th December for 1hr 30min where you will each be sat in your own 'bubbles' to enjoy immersive Storytelling & Theatre whilst you eat your very own Christmas-themed afternoon tea! 

The show will last 30-40 mins with music, shadow puppetry, glove puppetry & life size puppetry with themes of

making wishes, gratitude and of course magic!

Each afternoon tea will be served in a hand-painted box specifically for each individual- Adults and Children

with a special gift for the children to take home.

A selection of artisan sandwiches on sour dough and granary seeded bread

Individual vegetarian savoury quiche

Freshly made plain and Christmas pudding infused scone

Strawberry compote, vanilla cream

Sticky toffee ginger cake

'It’s not Terrys it’s Marmites' dark chocolate and orange mousse

Freshly brewed tea

All presented in a bespoke hand painted boxes

Children 

Individual bite sized cheese and ham sandwiches on artisan bread

Homemade chocolate chip shortbread biscuit

Strawberry jelly pot with sprinkles

Homemade plain scone with butter

Fresh grapes, melon, carrot sticks

Edible Glitter pot to sprinkle fairy dust on your scone

Orange squash

About Our Chef

Marmite Fine Dining Catering are a bespoke catering set up by Chef Director Ian Marvell in October 2018 to fill a need within the hospitality sector to provide a truly bespoke service where the customers needs are not just met but exceeded.

The Chef Director Ian Marvell has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and has a wide range of skills, experience and services to offer from a private chef dinner, cookery masterclass, full afternoon tea including a socially distanced version, along with buffets, canapé events and all things catering.

 

Ian’s career has been in one of high class catering from being head chef at Hitchin Priory, Shuttleworth at Old Warden Park, GlaxoSmithKline, Capers Catering, chef trainer for a large contract catering company in London and also at the Phoenix Artist Club in the heart of Soho where he gained the Federation of Small Business award of the best restaurant in London beating over 1100 entries to take the award.

 

 He also has experience in the health and safety area where he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, a fully registered food hygiene and food allergy trainer, he also does workshops with Greenlight Community Food Workshop, Noah Enterprise and the mental health drop in centre called Minds2gether to teach cookery skills, basic food hygiene and healthy eating.
