MERAKI FESTIVAL 2018

AUGUST 10TH-12TH 2018

I had a fantastic few days at meraki festival! i met lots of lovely new faces and definitely some amazing imaginations!

friday & saturday we had drama sessions during the day and then i told my hand written stories in the evening. we got the children moving, singing, running around the field being unicorns, aliens-you name it!

The best thing about it was how you gain confidence approaching strangers who are not sure they would like to join in and then seeing their faces light up when you get going and the ice is broken. That is the beauty of drama for children! THAT is why I love my job.

Not to mention a HUMUNGOUS thank you to my friend Tilly from Tillys Dance & Yoga Factory who helped me massively throughout the weekend where I needed it most!!!! She works wonders and is fantastic with kids. Find more info on www.tillysdancefactory.co.uk
