Half Term Camp fun!
Today was Tiny T's FIRST camp at The Secret Garden in Hitchin!
We started the day with introducing ourselves with movements to our names and then created a story together about pirates and fairies. I find when children first meet they are extremely shy and their imaginations are completely blank, however as soon as they get more comfortable they come out with the best things!!
I laid out all of my story cards and in their groups they had to pick different cards and use them as their own pirate or fairy story. Considering most of them had never done drama before they were brilliant!
We created pirate telescopes and fairy/wizard wands and some used them in their performances at the end of the day!
Well done everyone, it was a fantastic day with great new friendships that were made. I look forward to our SUMMER camps!!
